The Saudi Crown Prince and the Pakistani Prime Minister meet in Mina

MINA: According to the Saudi Press Agency, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met at Mina Palace on Thursday. According to SPA, the two presidents greeted each other on Eid Al-Adha and discussed the long-standing relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, emphasising the need to improve bilateral cooperation in several areas.

They also examined efforts to improve security and stability and regional developments. Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, and Foreign Affairs Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan were among the high-ranking Saudi officials who attended the reception.

Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, Minister of Information Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, Chief of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir were also present.

On the Pakistani side, Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim, Chief of Army Staff, and ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq attended the meeting with Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
