As the Israeli military assault in the Palestinian coastal enclave enters its 22nd month, Jordan’s King Abdullah II declared on Wednesday that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is among the worst in modern history. The greatest support for Gaza’s people, who are suffering from a humanitarian catastrophe unlike anything witnessed in recent history, has been and will continue to be Jordan,” he said.
King Abdullah underlined Jordan’s continuous diplomatic efforts to resolve the Gaza situation during a meeting with media representatives at Al Husseiniya Palace. In order to improve the humanitarian response in Gaza, Netanyahu emphasized talks with Canada and Germany as well as communication with Arab leaders and other international partners.
