JEDDAH: On Friday, Jeddah opened its first “artificial intelligence laboratory,” a ground-breaking initiative aimed at boosting the expansion of regional company owners and start-ups. The Community Jameel Saudi Foundation is supporting the effort, which is being led by the Start Smart Entrepreneurship Center.

According to SPA, the extensive program establishes an immersive setting in which entrepreneurs, company owners, and startup founders may use AI technology to revolutionize their endeavors. The lab creates a vibrant networking center that links participants with startup accelerators, service providers, innovation hubs, and accomplished alumni from past Start Smart cohorts.

There are three ways to operate the lab. Expert practitioners facilitate “enrichment encounters,” exchanging perspectives on using AI solutions in diverse sectors. In-depth seminars led by professionals in the field walk participants through useful AI applications designed for startup development as part of the “technology toolkit” component.

According to SPA, a “mentor connect” service provides one-on-one meetings with seasoned company executives, allowing participants to access tried-and-true tactics and gain knowledge from both achievements and failures on the entrepreneurial path.
