Maintainer of the Two Holy Mosques, JEDDAH King Salman has ordered that young Saudi man Maher Al-Dalbahi be given the King Abdulaziz Medal of the First Class and SR1 million in cash. This is based on the suggestion made by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in appreciation of his daring and heroism in preventing a massive gas station explosion that would have killed many people.
The Saudi leadership’s recognition of Al-Dalbahi is a sign of their because and admiration for the sacrifices made by their people, who have inherited the courage, commitment, and selflessness from the founding ideals of their nation. Al-Dalbahi’s family valued the royal honor, seeing it as a mark of distinction and a strong testament to the concern and gratitude that the astute leadership shows for its people and the sacrifices they make across the board.
When a fire started in a truck carrying fodder at a gas station in Al-Jamsh town in the Al-Dawadmi governorate in the Riyadh region, Al-Dalbahi prevented a catastrophe that might have killed scores of people. By hurriedly boarding the vehicle and swiftly guiding it away from the fuel tanks, Al-Dalbahi shown incredible bravery and foresight, averting a catastrophic explosion.
