Since its founding, the Kingdom has carried out 8,457 projects in 173 countries across the globe and given over $142 billion in charity, development, and humanitarian aid. In order to improve openness, objectivity, and professionalism, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center was founded in 2015.
As a reflection of the Kingdom’s unwavering dedication to long-term humanitarian impact, its work goes beyond providing immediate aid to include empowering impacted communities and strengthening their ability to recover from catastrophes.
