RIYADH: Talal Al-Otaibi, Saudi Arabia’s assistant minister of defense, met with senior Pakistan Army officials on Friday while on a formal visit to Islamabad.
He reviewed relations between the two countries during meetings with Gen. Syed Asim Munir, the army commander, Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. Muhammad Avais Dastgir, the chief of staff.
Senior Pakistani military officials have discussions in Islamabad with Talal Al-Otaibi, Saudi Arabia’s assistant minister of defense.
Around the time of Al-Otaibi’s visit, the Saudi-Pakistani Committee met as well. In keeping with the objectives of Kingdom’s Vision 2030 development and diversification plan, its members talked about how the countries could cooperate in defense, including research and development, technology transfer, and localization.
Talal Al-Otaibi, the assistant minister of defense for Saudi Arabia, visited Islamabad on Friday and discussed with high ranking Pakistan Army officials.
He met with Gen. Syed Asim Munir, the army commander, Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. Muhammad Avais Dastgir, the chief of staff, to discuss the two nations’ Connections.
