RIYADH — A new tool that allows host individuals to report cases of absconding individuals who entered the Kingdom on a guest visa has been created by the Ministry of Interior’s Absher platform. Five requirements were outlined by the Absher platform in order to submit such a report. The rules state that the report must be submitted seven days after the visit visa’s expiration date and that the absentee’s visa must be a visit visa that is categorized as a personal or family visa.
The visit visa must be in an expired status, and the report cannot be submitted more than 14 days after the visa has expired. The requirements also stipulate that each report must be submitted just once. The visa holder (visitor) must be present in Saudi Arabia and pay the extension fees in order to extend the visa service if the remaining duration is seven days or less, or within three days after it expires. Additionally, both the visa applicant and the visa holder must be alive at the time of the extension, the visa holder’s passport must be valid, and the visa holder must not have any outstanding traffic offenses. Additionally, the medical insurance duration can be extended for a single visa or multiple entry visa, and it must span the necessary extension period.
