RIYADH: The AlUla Trail Race is scheduled for January 23 and 24, 2025 for adventurers seeking a challenge amid breathtaking surroundings.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, this athletic challenge is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels in a lively, competitive setting. The AlUla Moments event will feature several races for all skill levels over the desert terrain and historic oases of AlUla, from a 1.6 km “Kids’ Run” to a 100 km ultra-marathon.
Participants in the seven different races of the AlUla Trail Race 2025 will see famous AlUla sites such as Elephant Rock, Maraya (the largest mirrored building in the world), and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hegra.
The 1.6 km event provides a fun and safe introduction to competitive running for kids ages 6 to 12. Participants 13 years of age and above can explore AlUla’s oasis at dusk by participating in the 3-kilometer “Sunset Run.”
The 10-kilometer “AlUla Oasis” event is appropriate for novices or those looking for a modest challenge, and it is available to runners 13 years of age and up.
