American billionaire Elon Musk met with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, to talk about continued collaborations in the fields of artificial intelligence and space.
Saudi Arabia’s dedication to developing its technical environment through strategic partnerships is demonstrated by this gathering.More than 20 organizations from the public and private sectors participated in a workshop that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology recently arranged with the United States.
The workshop’s objectives were to promote cooperation between the public and private sectors, stimulate innovation in the telecommunications industry, and strengthen digital relationships between the two countries.
By Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the talks centered on prospects pertaining to Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN) technologies with the goal of creating a versatile and sustainable digital infrastructure that supports the expansion of the digital economy.
According to Minister Al-Swaha, these projects are a reflection of Saudi Arabia’s strategic aspirations to create an all-encompassing artificial intelligence innovation ecosystem. Notably, Saudi corporations like Aramco and Qualcomm are working with foreign companies to introduce some of the most cutting-edge AI acceleration cards available.
