In an attempt to slow down the Kremlin’s war machine, Ukraine has increased its aerial attacks on Russian territory in recent months, focusing on oil pipelines and refineries. The third year of the conflict has left defenders vulnerable, and Moscow’s army is applying pressure along the front line in eastern Ukraine.
Vasily Golubev, the governor of Rostov area, reported that although there were no deaths, the drone strike had resulted in a fire that covered 200 square meters (2,100 square feet). Golubev stated the fire had been put out about five hours after he had reported it on Telegram.
