India excels at the Global Harmony Initiative During the Riyadh Season

RIYADH: India’s rich cultural legacy and way of life are being showcased during Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia as part of the Global Harmony Initiative, a lively celebration of world cultures.

The project is the focal point of the current Riyadh Season at Al-Suwaidi Park and was started by the Ministry of Media as part of the Quality of Life Program in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.During the event at Al-Suwaidi Park, a number of Indian celebrities and artists are showcasing their nation’s rich multiple culture and legacy. These include Emiway Bantai, an Indian rapper, musician, and actor best known for “Gully Boy” (2019); Sameeksha Sud, a social media influencer and TV actor; and Himesh Reshammiya, a well-known Indian playback singer, music director, songwriter, film, and music producer; Surabhi Mehra and Samriddhi Mehra, also known as “Chinki-Minki” from the well-liked “Kapil Sharma Show.

Speaking to Arab News, siblings Chinki-Minki, who are celebrated for their comedic talent on social media and Indian television, said: “We are here for the first time, and we are enjoying it. We have experienced very warm hospitality, we met Indian community members who (have been) staying (in Saudi Arabia) for years and loving it.
