India Recognizes Kuwait's Decision to Establish a Hindi Radio Program.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait announced on Monday that the country’s first-ever Hindi radio transmission had commenced. The Ministry of Information in Kuwait was praised by the Indian Embassy in Kuwait for launching a Hindi program on Kuwait Radio, which airs on FM 93.3 and AM 96.3 every Sunday.

According to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, the action will further improve the ties between the two countries. The approximately one million-strong Indian community is the largest expatriate community in Kuwait and is recognized as the community of choice for foreigners.

Kuwait is home to professionals such as engineers, physicians, chartered accountants, scientists, software specialists, management consultants, architects, technicians, nurses, retail traders, and businesspeople. On April 17, the Indian ambassador to Kuwait, Adarsh Swaika, called on the Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and lauded his expatriate-friendly measures instituted during his tenure and apprised him of developments in the Indian community.

In Kuwait, the Indian Business Community has established a specialty in retail and distribution. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) notes that India and Kuwait have historically and steadfastly had cordial relations.
