The Saudi humanitarian organization KSrelief is still providing medical care and aid supplies to people all over the world.
According to a Friday article from the Saudi Press Agency, the organization has assisted 406 persons who have lost limbs in Taiz Governorate, Yemen, through the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center Project.
A total of 1,475 services were offered by the project; 33% of the services were given to women and 67% to men.
Of the beneficiaries, 89 percent were locals and 11 percent were displaced individuals.
Prosthetic limb delivery, fitting, and upkeep were among the services offered, along with physical therapy and expert consultations.
The aid is a component of the ongoing humanitarian initiatives that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, acting through KSrelief, is providing to improve the capacity of the health sector and lessen the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The work for the earthquake victims in Reyhanli has been finished by the Saudi Sama’a Volunteer Program for Cochlear Implantation and Hearing Rehabilitation in Turkiye.
Additionally in Turkiye, KSrelief sent 2,000 medical kits to Syrian refugees at the Islahiye camp in Gaziantep, close to Reyhanli, who had been affected by the earthquake. Program dates were June 30 to July 7.
84 youngsters received auditory rehabilitation therapy sessions and cochlear implants from the volunteer medical team from KSrelief during this period.
