People impacted by disasters and health issues in Yemen, Sudan, and Lebanon have received much-needed assistance from the Saudi humanitarian organization KSrelief.
The organization’s Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center Project provided vital medical care, including physical therapy, expert consultations, prosthetic fittings, and rehabilitation, to 521 citizens and displaced individuals in Yemen’s Marib governorate who had lost limbs.
In response to the recent catastrophic floods, KSrelief also provided emergency food assistance and shelter to 540 people in the governorate of Al-Hudaydah.
Between July 24 and July 30, 1,265 people received medical attention from the humanitarian organization’s emergency facility for epidemic illness control in the Hayran region of the Hajjah Governorate. Pediatric care, internal medicine, epidemiology, laboratory assistance, and drug distribution were among the services offered.
Furthermore, during the same time period, 1,893 patients were treated by the KSrelief-supported Al-Ja’dah Health Center, which provided a variety of medical services such obstetrics, internal medicine, and emergency care.
As part of its Emergency Shelter Assistance Project, KSrelief provided 858 shelter and personal care kits to displaced families in Sudan, benefiting 2,467 individuals. The humanitarian organization in Lebanon proceeded to provide support for the ambulance service of the Subul Al-Salam Social Association, working with the Miniyeh municipality to carry out 56 trips.
