Sergii Malomuzh, a figure with multiple passions, is the founder of two successful companies, Rewump, a business incubator, and Rewmp, a private venture fund. His professional journey started at quite a young age and since then, he has earned two degrees – PhD in Law and an MSc in Entrepreneurship, two bar licenses, and even recognitions including, the Lawyer of the Year award in 2023 in the category of investments, economic, and commercial law.
At Rewump, Sergii Malomuzh focuses on investing in early-stage Web3 and AI sectors along with providing essential back-office support in HR, legal, and financial domains. Apart from entrepreneurship and legal expertise, Sergii Malomuzh is a half-marathon runner, a swimmer, a licensed helicopter pilot, and a parachutist.
From Law to Leadership
We first asked, “Could you share a bit about your background, early life, and education?”
Sergii Malomuzh shared, “I’m the founder of Rewump, a business incubator, and Rewmp, a private venture fund. Over the last year, we invested $3M+ in 21 projects. I hold two advanced degrees – a PhD in Law and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of both jurisprudence and entrepreneurship.
I have been involved in tech business since the age of 20. My most recent company, founded in early 2018, evolved from a legal consulting practice into a holding of four successful companies in various fields within five years. The total number of employees in the holding exceeded 500 people.”
At the end of 2022, following a strategic session, the holding’s management decided to sell the companies to focus on new projects more aligned with personal strategies. Since June 2023, we have started creating the current company – Rewump, beginning with the back office and investments, which will become an accelerator.
My professional interests include investments, Web3 technologies, artificial intelligence, and legal regulation. I am actively studying these areas and looking for ideas for new products and collaborations.
In my personal life, I am passionate about a healthy lifestyle, sports, aviation, and self-development. An important part of my life is relationships and family.
In collaborations, I value systematic and critical thinking, flexibility and adaptability, continuous learning, and development.”
“I earned a Master’s degree in Law in 2013 and then began lecturing at the department of Criminal Law alongside my legal practice. In 2017, I obtained a PhD with a dissertation on ‘Insignificance of an act in criminal law.’ Additionally, I hold a Certificate of Right to Practice Law and I’m a certified attorney-at-law mediator from the Deutsche Anwalt Akademie.
To expand my expertise, I earned a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activities in 2018. Also, to enhance my skills in informatization, I completed courses from renowned institutions such as Transform Wise Savchuk Bi School, KMBS, Scrum.org, and the Project Management Institute”, he added.

Our team comprises experienced professionals committed to nurturing startups from concept to commercialization. Additionally, We are developing a Venture Fund to identify and support promising projects and ensure profitability.
