AL-BAHA: In advance of the school holiday season, Saudi officials have planned massive preparations for public recreational facilities. In addition to municipal squares, public areas, and roadways, the Al-Baha municipality has prepared 142 parks and recreational areas to receive tourists. These facilities, which cover more than 4,188,559.98 million square meters, include playgrounds for kids, green areas, shade structures, lighting, sidewalks, seating areas, parking, and facilities for walking and bicycling, according to regional secretary Ali bin Mohammed Al-Sawat.
In the meantime, the Eastern Region Municipality has finished preparing 18 public recreational parks, 14 waterfront sites, 213 walking trails, and 979 parks and public squares. Since school breaks and mild weather encourage greater outdoor activities, the amenities are well-timed. Since these amenities are essential breathing spaces for residents and citizens, the municipality underlined its commitment to maintaining them on a regular basis.
Ali bin Mohammed Al-Sawat, the regional secretary, stated that these facilities cover an area of over 4,188,559.98 million square meters and include features like playgrounds for kids, green areas, shade structures, lighting, sidewalks, parking, and areas for walking and cycling.
