The Humanitarian Efforts of KSrelief Are Praised by The Tajik Embassy

Following Ramadan, a Saudi relief organisation will dispatch physicians to conduct paediatric heart surgery. Riyadh: The ambassador of Tajikistan to Saudi Arabia, Akram Karimi, commended the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief initiatives through KSrelief, a Saudi assistance organisation that helps individuals in need in the Central Asian nation. In order to address relief and humanitarian issues, as well as methods to improve humanitarian efforts in Tajikistan, the envoy met with Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, the Assistant Supervisor General for Planning and Development at KSrelief, in Riyadh.

Karimi told Arab News that he spoke with Al-Ghamdi about Tajikistan and KSrelief working together and thanked Saudi Arabia for helping his government carry out social and humanitarian projects. He emphasised KSrelief as one of the top organisations working in Tajikistan in the areas of humanitarian, social, and relief efforts, pointing out that the organisation has funded more than $16 million for more than 25 projects there.

Regarding future cooperation, Karimi stated that they looked into methods to improve teamwork, especially in high-priority areas like healthcare. “After the holy month of Ramadan, we came to an agreement for a team of Saudi doctors to visit Tajikistan to conduct a medical campaign to perform voluntary surgeries for children with heart failure,” he continued.
