The seventh annual Tanween creativity conference is almost ready to happen. It will be held at the Ithra Center in Dhahran from October 31 to November 6. The Saudi Press Agency said on Friday that preparations are under way.
The conference’s theme, “Fail Forward,” will be explored by some 60 resource persons from throughout the globe, according to a report that cited a statement from the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
According to Ithra, this year’s conference will include workshops, training sessions, exhibitions, and other activities with the goal of producing noticeable outcomes in the field of design.
The conference “aims to alter the perception of failure by incorporating setbacks as an inherent aspect of the design process,” it continued.
“The conference also aims to embrace failure as part of the creative process, in which each experience offers lessons leading to innovative discoveries and valuable experiences that help the creative community continue to advance and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and success,” said the center.
According to the conference’s objectives, Ithra urged creators and innovators to create design solutions that improve and enrich the Hajj experience through three main tracks: “Waste Management” to reimagine the process during the Hajj season; “Health” to discover novel approaches to lessen pilgrims’ fatigue; and “Communication” to improve and develop guidance and direction services.
