9 special Awards are Won by Saudi Students at ISEF 2024 in the US.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabian students taking part in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair have won nine special awards for the 18th consecutive year.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, or Mawhiba, the fair was taking place in Los Angeles, California.
Jamal Mohammed Al-Luqmani won two special awards in the field of materials science; Elias Maho Khan won one in biomedicine and health sciences; Layan Al-Qarafi won one in software systems; Fatima Al-Shakhs won one in environmental engineering; Lana Al-Mazrouei won one in cellular and molecular biology; Abeer Al-Yousef won one in chemistry; and Saleh Al-Anqari won one in chemistry.

She commended the outcomes and benefits of this collaboration, stressing the many global accomplishments and how the Kingdom was represented in a way befitting its stature in the world.
The Saudi Science and Engineering team currently has 50 prizes from special awards that different companies gave out while they were competing in the ISEF.
The results of the grand prizes are expected to be announced on Friday evening, when the Saudi team is hopeful to win more accolades.
