AlUla is Reached by a British Adventurer on a Historic Trip

RIYADH: British traveler and TV host Alice Morrison has reached AlUla as part of her historic journey to walk across the Kingdom from the extreme north to the far south. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the first part of her five-month journey, which started on January 1, is halfway through this leg of the trip. Along with camels and native guides, she will cover 2,500 kilometres through the Kingdom’s expansive deserts, verdant oasis, and majestic mountains.

Morrison went to AlUla Old Town during her trip, exploring its ancient lanes and hearing its age-old tales, according to the SPA. She conveyed her profound appreciation for AlUla’s allure, calling it a unique location that blends nature and antiquity, making it one of the most significant exploration sites in the world. According to the SPA, Morrison expressed her pleasure in purchasing a variety of handicrafts that showcase Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural legacy. She went on to say that local crafts reflect the genuineness of Saudi culture and the inventiveness of artisans.
