Kuwait’s Fire Force (KFF) also effectively contained a fire started by Iranian attacks on Tuesday. A representative for the Kuwait Fire Force verified that the fire had been extinguished. There were no reported injuries, and the fire mainly caused material damage to the scene.

According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), firefighters extinguished a fire early Wednesday at a facility in Kuwait following a claimed Iranian attack. No injuries were reported. Mohammed Al-Gharib, director of the Kuwait Fire Force’s Public Relations Department, informed Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that six firefighting teams, assisted by army and National Guard fire brigades, controlled the fire.

The Kuwait Fire Force did not define the nature of the site or its location within the country. The development came only hours after the Iranian army claimed to have launched a seventh wave of drone attacks on US military targets in the region.

The Iranian military claimed that it had struck Jordan’s Al Azraq Air Base. The United States launched a new onslaught against Iranian targets, followed by the resumption of a naval embargo on ships moving to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas. Tensions have risen between the United States and Iran in recent days as both countries seek to assert control over the Strait of Hormuz.
