According to the UAE Cybersecurity Council, certain AI technologies might be made to gather users’ data and personal information without their knowledge. Before utilizing a website or AI service, residents were advised to make sure it is trustworthy and to carefully examine the permissions it asks for.
Steer clear of giving AI tools credit card numbers, bank account information, online banking login passwords, or financial statements. Information may fall into the wrong hands if a discussion is inadvertently shared, your account is hacked, or you are utilizing an AI service with laxer privacy safeguards. Financial information should always be kept private.
Your passport, Emirates ID, driver’s license, and visa are examples of documents that include extremely private information. If these files are ever made public, uploading them needlessly raises the possibility of identity theft. Consider redacting personal information before uploading a document if you need AI to assist with its analysis.The head of the UAE Cyber Security Council, Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, issued a warning in June that artificial intelligence was being utilized for much more than just email and phishing scams.
