Comedy Factory Program has its Big Conclusion in Riyadh

At Boulevard Riyadh City, the four-month Comedy Factory project to find fresh comic and artistic potential came to an end.

The General Entertainment Authority’s CEO, Faisal Bafarat, was present at the comedy initiative’s grand finale, according to a Saudi Press Agency story on Saturday.

GEA Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh, who “believed in the Comedy Factory concept and diligently pursued all of its details until it was realized,” according to Comedy Factory team leader Hassan Al-Balam, was a major factor in the initiative’s success.

“We had clear goals set for us during the project, namely, establishing a Saudi youth comedy theater,” Al-Balam stated.

He conveyed his appreciation to all those who helped make the endeavor a success.

Graduate students performed two plays written by fellow graduates, “The Enchanted Chair” and “Alzheimer,” at the event to display their talents.

The plays demonstrated the abilities and knowledge they had acquired during their training in diction, acting, and mimicry.

Certificates were given to the students as the ceremony came to an end, and faculty members received commemorative shields from Bafarat as a thank you for their contributions.
