About 209,500 Foreign Employees have their skills Verified by the Saudi Professional Accreditation Program

RIYADH: Through the Professional Accreditation Program, which has attained record numbers since its inception and accredited roughly 209,500 workers in various professions covering over 1,000 occupations worldwide, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is continuing its efforts to improve the quality of labour market outcomes.

The Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday that the program seeks to guarantee that foreign workers have the skills and credentials required by each profession in accordance with the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations to ensure a more effective and superior working environment.

Professional verification and inspection services, which follow particular procedures and methods, are part of the program.

The professional verification service’s goal is to verify the qualifications, experience, and credentials of foreign workers in high-skilled positions. With a maximum processing period of 15 working days, this procedure is entirely automated and carried out via a single electronic platform.

In occupations where a college degree is not necessary, the professional inspection service focusses on employees with medium and low skill levels. Through theoretical and practical assessments given both before and after workers arrive in the Kingdom, the competence levels of foreign employees are evaluated.
