Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih reaffirmed the Kingdom’s strong interest in expanding sustainable investments in Tajikistan during the Dushanbe International Investment Forum 2025.
Al-Falih, who led a high-level Saudi delegation to Dushanbe earlier this week, attended the forum alongside Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and top government officials. His delegation included representatives from both the Saudi public and private sectors, as well as key business and financial leaders.
In his opening remarks, Al-Falih conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to President Rahmon, the Tajik government, and the people of Tajikistan.
He noted that the forum’s key focus areas green investments, sustainable development, and digitalisation perfectly align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. That’s why we’re seeing strong participation from Saudi companies here, he said, pointing out that firms like ACWA Power are exploring new opportunities in renewable energy, mining, and other sectors. Al-Falih urged Saudi investors to take advantage of Tajikistan’s emerging sectors and build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. Highlighting the strong ties between the two nations, the minister said that Saudi-Tajik relations are built on shared Islamic values, mutual respect, and a common vision for progress.
