London: According to state media on Tuesday, attacks by Kurdish-led troops in Syria’s second-largest city resulted in four fatalities and at least 17 injuries. According to Syria’s Defense Ministry, the fighting was the third day in a row that the Syrian Democratic Forces had assaulted sites in Aleppo and the surrounding region.
According to SANA, the SDF shelled residential buildings in and around Aleppo’s Al-Midan area, killing two women and one male. Nine workers were transported to the hospital, according to the Aleppo Agriculture Directorate, after an SDF shell struck a nearby building.
According to the report, some locals evacuated to safer regions of the city, and authorities advised people to stay away from places where fighting was happening until the security forces had secured them.
An SDF drone strike against army positions in Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud district to the north earlier claimed the life of a Syrian soldier.
Three more people were hurt in the attack close to the Shayhan roundabout.
The SDF was accused by the Defense Ministry of heavily damaging private property by firing a number of Aleppo neighborhoods adjacent to areas under its control. In response, the army attacked drone launch locations and SDF positions.
