Turin: The Saudi-Italian corporate Forum, which brought together politicians, corporate executives, and specialists from both nations, came to an end on Wednesday. The forum’s third day began with a discourse on industrial excellence by Cristina Tumiatti, vice president of Piccola Industria Unione Industriali Torino. “The Saudi Arabian market has exceptional strategic potential. It is a natural commercial hub due to its geographic location and vibrant economy, she added.
“I have witnessed firsthand the progress and openness that characterise the Saudi business environment,” Tumiatti said, praising the Kingdom’s swift transition and sharing her own experiences there. “Our initiatives promote digital ecological manufacturing and investments aimed specifically at companies entering the Saudi market,” she added, underscoring Italy’s emphasis on Middle East relationships.
The general manager of petrochemicals at the Ministry of Investment, Waleed Al-Rubaie, spoke about the difficulties facing the world economy and emphasised the need of international collaboration. “The world is facing many challenges at this time, and we can only overcome these by working together,” he stated. “With our new green initiatives, we are committed to balancing energy availability with sustainability,” Al-Rubaie said, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s green commitment.
