China and Saudi Arabia will Increase Cooperative Efforts

New General Consul of India Eager to Strengthen Relations with Saudi Arabia

The fourth meeting of the High-Level Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee was co-chaired on Wednesday in Riyadh by visiting Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman.

During the meeting, the committee discussed aspects of the two nations’ cooperative cooperation, particularly areas of coordination in trade opportunities, political and security aspects, energy, investment, culture, and technology.

The two sides also discussed the most recent events in the regional and global arenas and the initiatives taken by the two nations to address them. At the conclusion of the fourth meeting of the Saudi-Chinese High-Level Joint Committee, Li Qiang and the Crown Prince signed the minutes.

The Crown Prince hosted the Chinese premier at the Royal Court earlier. The Chinese National Anthem and the Saudi Royal Anthem were played at Li Qiang’s formal reception ceremony. An official discussion session came after this. The Chinese premier conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for the hospitality and cordial welcome extended to him and the accompanying delegation, while the Crown Prince greeted Li and the members of his entourage and wished them a pleasant stay. The Crown Prince threw a formal luncheon banquet in honour of the Chinese premier.
