RIYADH: The impact of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiatives, which center national growth around creativity, culture, and technological innovation, is becoming more apparent in a variety of fields and behaviours.
Young Saudis are utilising artificial intelligence to include technology into their artistic endeavours as a means of self-expression as well as a useful tool. By doing this, they are developing new skills, investigating individual and group identities, and discovering fresh approaches to cultural heritage preservation and interpretation.
Dandelion Civilisation, a platform that helps people choose their own career routes, was founded by Dmitry Zaytsev. He stated that AI offers young Saudis a new opportunity to engage with their own cultural heritage.
Zaytsev argues that this new mode of articulation indicates a greater engagement with tradition rather than a rejection of it. The young artist learns what must stay the same and what can change. AI turns into a sketchbook that enables culture to change not out of fear but out of curiosity. “Creators reinforce cultural identity rather than weaken it when they correct a model or push it toward local rhythm,” he said.
