LONDON: Displaced Palestinians living in tents in the Gaza Strip have received food packs from the Saudi charitable organization KSrelief, which has also given winter clothing to families in Yemen.Assistance arrives in areas affected by severe rain and declining temperatures.
The two regions are experiencing severe rain and a cold snap at the time of the humanitarian endeavor. Over 2,000 winter clothes were distributed by the organization in Yemen, primarily in the Hadramout valley. Since the conflict began in late 2023, KSrelief has sent eight ships and 78 aircraft to Gaza with about 7,700 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. Additionally, more than 900 Saudi vehicles have supplied the area with food and medical supplies.
In addition to signing contracts worth $90 million for aid initiatives in Gaza, the organization has given 20 ambulances to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. In collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces, it has also executed airdrops.
