KSrelief Intensifies Charity Initiatives in Gaza and Yemen

RIYADH: With $1.1 million in funding, KSrelief has partnered with a civil society organization to carry out the water and sanitation project in Yemen’s Hajjah province, which will help 30,422 people. Drilling and repairing solar-powered wells, establishing pumping networks, constructing and repairing tanks, and establishing water desalination plants are all part of the project. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the project will also make it easier for vehicles to distribute and transport water.

The agreement was signed in Riyadh by Ahmed Al-Baiz, KSrelief’s assistant supervisor general of operations and programs. According to the SPA, Saudi assistance convoys delivering 4,494 shelter kits have arrived in northern Gaza to assist locals and displaced families.

To help families deal with the hard conditions, the kits include with water containers, cooking utensils, blankets, and mattresses. To lessen suffering in the midst of the prolonged siege and extreme cold, KSrelief’s executive partner in Gaza, the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, will start distribution right away.
