KSrelief Offers Earthquake Victims in Hatay, Turkey, Training

RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency said on Friday that volunteers from KSrelief, the Kingdom’s humanitarian organisation, had trained earthquake victims in Hatay province, Turkey.

Members of the Syria and Turkiye populations participated in the third and fourth volunteer training programs. Between September 29 and October 4, 20 volunteers participated in the 91-person training.

Sewing and embroidery, air conditioning and refrigeration, multimedia technology, graphic design, and computer maintenance are among the advanced economic empowerment courses available since the campaign’s inception. Therapy sessions, psychological empowerment, and first aid instruction were other forms of support. This served 217 individuals, including the sighted and the visually impaired.

Participants in the third and fourth volunteer training courses were from the Turkish and Syrian groups. Twenty volunteers took part in the 91-person training, which ran from September 29 to October 4. Advanced economic empowerment courses, such as those in computer maintenance, graphic design, multimedia technology, sewing and embroidery, refrigeration and air conditioning, and more, have been available from the campaign’s inception.
