We recently had the privilege of interviewing Corie Anziano, Founder and CEO of Tykorchélli. Corie is the visionary behind Tykorchélli, a luxury couture brand that embodies the celebration of individuality, craftsmanship, and the art of storytelling through fashion. With each collection, the CEO strives to inspire confidence, empower self-expression, and redefine the boundaries of luxury fashion.

In this insightful interview, Corie Anziano shares her professional journey in the creative field, her career highlights, and the services offered by Tykorchélli.

The Beginning

We started the interview by asking, “Can you walk us through your professional journey and how it led to where you are today?”

Corie Anziano  shared, “My professional journey began in the creative realms with over two decades of experience in business management, finance, and art. These disciplines provided me with a deep understanding of how to balance creativity with strategic planning, which naturally transitioned into the world of fashion. Alongside my husband and co-founder, Tyreeq Thomas, whose background in sales, with a passion for art and history complemented mine, we founded Tykorchélli in October 2022.  

Our goal was to create a brand that merges historical grandeur with modern elegance, offering wearable masterpieces that tell a story. This vision, coupled with years of learning and studying business and human experiences, brought Tykorchélli to life and has guided us to where we are today.”

Adaptability Amidst Challenges

Challenges are a part of every professional path. To learn how Corie Anziano overcame the same, we asked, “Reflecting on your career, what have been some of the most significant challenges you’ve faced, and how did you overcome them?”

Corie Anziano shared, “Launching a luxury couture brand in a fast fashion-dominated industry required us to stand out through exceptional quality, compelling storytelling, and distinctive designs to gain global recognition. We overcame this by staying true to our vision – creating one-of-a-kind pieces that merge historical influences with modern interpretations.

Moreover, we take pride in paying special attention to cultural traditions when designing, ensuring that our creations respect and reflect the diverse backgrounds of our clients. The press coverage and recognition we’ve received, including features in Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue Weekly, as well as making the best-dressed list at Cannes dressing Miss Universe, Sheynnis Palacios, have been affirmations of our perseverance and commitment.”

We further asked, “How do you balance long-term vision with short-term operational needs?”

Balancing long-term vision with short-term operational needs requires a strategic approach. We have a clear vision of what we want Tykorchélli to become—a globally recognized brand known for its distinctive Renaissance designs, intricate detailing, and craftsmanship.

To achieve this, we ensure that our daily operations, from design to production and marketing, align with this overarching goal. We remain flexible in our approach, allowing for adjustments as necessary, while keeping our long-term vision at the forefront of every decision.” She replied.

Current Offerings At Tykorchélli

Eager to learn about the services and products offered by Corie Anziano’s company and its upcoming events, we asked, “Tell us more about your services and if you are planning to add something new in the future.”

Corie Anziano said, “Tykorchélli offers a wide range of services, including exclusive one-of-a-kind couture, red carpet and special occasion wear, Sarees, Abayas, and even film costuming. Each piece is designed with meticulous attention to detail and storytelling. Looking to the future, we plan to expand into Tykorchélli Kids, bringing our unique blend of luxury and artistry to children’s fashion as well as launching our streetwear brand, Chélli.

Additionally, we are continuously exploring new ways to innovate within the industry, ensuring our offerings remain fresh and aligned with our brand’s ethos.”

Blend Of Research And Feedback

Staying ahead of the market demands top-notch market analysis. So, we asked, “What methods do you use to analyze market trends, and how have these influenced your business decisions?”

We analyze market trends through a combination of research, customer feedback, and staying attuned to shifts in the fashion industry. We look at what is resonating with consumers, both in terms of aesthetics and values and incorporate those insights into our designs.

For instance, the increasing demand for sustainability and ethical production has influenced us to be more mindful of our sourcing and production processes, ensuring that our products are not only beautiful but also responsible.” She added.

Redefining Businesses

The digital landscape is changing at a faster rate, transforming the way businesses perform, interact with customers, and drive growth. We also Corie, “How has digital transformation affected your business model?”

Corie Anziano responded, “Digital transformation has played a crucial role in expanding our reach and enhancing our customer experience. From online shopping platforms to social media marketing, digital tools have allowed us to connect with a global audience, showcase our collections in innovative ways, and provide personalized services through virtual consultations. It has also streamlined our operations, making it easier to manage everything from design to distribution more efficiently.”

Potential Trends Of The Industry

To gather Corie’s perspective on the potential trends of her industry, we asked, “What emerging technologies do you believe will have the most significant impact on your industry in the next five years?”

Corie Anziano  replied, “I believe that advancements in 3D printing, AI-driven design tools, and sustainable textile innovations will have a profound impact on the fashion industry. 3D printing will revolutionize the way we create intricate designs, allowing for more customization and reducing waste. AI will enhance our ability to predict trends and create personalized experiences for our clients. Sustainable textiles will be crucial as the industry moves towards more eco-friendly practices, aligning with the growing demand for ethical fashion.”

Addressing the employees, we asked Corie Anziano, “What strategies do you implement to maintain high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction?”:
