Aloe Vera, A Precious Gift From God To Human Being: Mehdi Mirzakhani As The Founder Of Dr. Aloe Vera

Mehdi Mirzakhani

Mehdi Mirzakhani, the founder and CEO of Dr. Aloe Vera, is a visionary entrepreneur as well as an innovator whose contribution to the agriculture and industrial sectors has been significant. Under his discerning leadership, his organization is among the pioneers in the development of sustainable solutions based on Aloe Vera and its exceptional properties. From cutting-edge recent research to high-quality products and strategic partnerships, Dr. Aloe Vera has transformed its industry in astonishing ways.

Early Life and Educational Background

Mehdi Mirzakhani studied plant protection, and after he graduated from university in 2005, he started his career path by entering the Plant Protection Organization in the Ministry of Agriculture. Mehdi adds, “The path of growth and promotion in my organizational position was smooth, and I was growing and promoting quickly, and I had a bright future in this position from the perspective of those around me, but inside me, it was a dream for which office work was like a cage.”

After three years of working in that organization, Mehdi Mirzakhani resigned in 2008 and started following his true passion.

Presence of Mehdi’s Company

Mehdi Mirzakhani started his journey into the current field by founding a PCO company (Pest Control Organization). Eventually, he began to undertake contracting projects with oil, gas, petrochemical, and steel companies, as well as other industrial factories, which went very well and created forward movement and added enormous experience and records in this sector for him.

Aside from that, Mehdi Mirzakhani was looking for his main interest besides the company, which was production in the agricultural field. He adds, “Due to my knowledge and great interest in the Aloe Vera plant, I was engaged in the cultivation of this plant and produced the highest quality crop in this field.”

Career-Defining Moment

At that time, people did not have enough knowledge and understanding of the plant, and the raw product did not have many customers in the market, and the highest quality product remained in Mehdi’s hands. Mehdi shares, “But the turning point of my working life began there. This issue made me think of finding a way in this field and started researching to process this plant with a lot of research and tests.”

Mehdi Mirzakhani and his colleagues came out successful in the design and construction of processing machines and were now equipped for the next project. He started Dr. Aloe Vera, which operated to offer valuable raw materials for food and beverage industries so that Aloe Vera-based products could be made in wide varieties. His R&D team conducted more research on the plant and developed a specialized Aloe Vera database to further enhance knowledge and increase social awareness of the plant.

Mehdi Mirzakhani mentions, “Being a knowledge-based agriculture and industry firm, we entered the Science and Technology Park as members and secured international certifications. At that time, there were only 1 or 2 imported brands of Aloe Vera drinks. Our group was able to increase this number to over 25 brands by building trust and positive results. Through those achievements, we opened avenues to export the goods, which were premium products, to five continents, and based on international standards, we became the biggest Aloe Vera producer in this region.”

Queen of Medicinal Plants

Aloe Vera is known as the queen of medicinal plants and the herb of immortality. It is such a precious gift for human beings and has a long historical background. This plant is native to the Arabian Peninsula and is a sustainable, profitable, and highly resistant plant for cultivation in the region. It is the best option for desertification and prevention of soil erosion. Aloe Vera is named after the Arabic word “Aloeh,” meaning bitter and bright substance.

Sharing about the exceptional qualities of the plant, Mehdi Mirzakhani further adds, “Aloe Vera is a perennial and evergreen plant which is resistant to dehydration and high heat, and tolerates high salinity of water and soil, and can be harvested for at least 8 to 10 years. The plant’s applications in various industries are endless and its derivatives have entered most industries. The presence of a complete set of vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, minerals, polysaccharides, and glycoproteins together in one plant has made it a unique plant that can be applied in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical, textile, agriculture, poultry, and aquaculture industries. In addition to the food and cosmetic industries, this plant is used in the pharmaceutical industry for producing anti-cancer and anti-HIV products and treating many chronic diseases. In the chemical industry, it is used to produce biofuels such as bioethanol, industrial wastewater treatment, industrial lubricants, and steel and iron corrosion inhibitors in the oil and gas industries. It is used in the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture industries for producing food supplements and significantly increases production efficiency and safety resistance.”

All parts of this exceptional plant are utilized, and it produces no waste. Additionally, Aloe Vera is a natural air purifier that absorbs dangerous and toxic pollutants while releasing oxygen into the atmosphere.

Current Offerings at Dr. Aloe Vera

Mehdi’s brand, Dr. Aloe Vera, uses new methods in the cultivation and processing of Aloe Vera. With the approval of the EU, USDA, HALAL, and ISO standards, the company has become a reliable supplier, producing highly effective and completely organic products, exporting them to international markets on five continents. Mehdi notes that alongside producing and exporting products, they are also transferring their technical knowledge and expertise to other countries.

“In Dr. Aloe Vera’s R&D&I team, we are working on profitable and widely used projects from this plant, and we are extracting useful derivatives that can be used as raw materials in all industries,” he adds.

Traits of Successful Leaders

Mehdi Mirzakhani believes that a successful leader in this industry must have a great passion for the field, tirelessness, and the ability to solve problems in certain situations.

“Good leaders have a visionary mindset, foretelling future needs, and know how to strategically place people, resources, and circumstances for them to achieve their objectives. They never allow themselves to be discouraged by obstacles; they innovate, making problems work for them. A successful leader does not have the word ‘impossible’ in their dictionary,” Mehdi shares.

Embracing Digital Transformation

The digital age is the most important part of the present era, having rapidly entered and expanded into all areas of human life. Businesses that do not align themselves with this rapid growth are doomed to be eliminated, with no place for them in the modern era.

Emphasizing the importance of adapting to the latest technological advancements, Mehdi shares, “Today, AI has multiplied the growth process by integrating databases. We use this platform the most in the sales, marketing, and research and development departments. Identifying potentials, challenges, and needs in various industries, and innovating to create new products to meet these needs using these new technologies, is key.”

Words of Wisdom for Beginners

For those new to the industry, Mehdi recommends continuing to pursue their goals without disappointment, fear of failure, or doubt. The essence of success lies in a combination of perseverance, self-belief, and innovation. Successful individuals stand out by embracing risks, holding unwavering confidence in their abilities, and continually thinking outside conventional norms.

Addressing newcomers, Mehdi Mirzakhani further adds, “Adopting these necessary qualities creates a resilient attitude that challenges the opportunity for growth and success. Persistence and the ability to be strong in adversity are the keys to success. Look at carbon and diamonds—same substance, but worlds apart in value. The difference is in pressure. Diamonds are made by pressure, not carbon. With this metaphor in mind, applying pressure can make us our best asset.”
