Ninety others were arrested while attempting to illegally depart the country. Twelve people were also taken into custody by security forces for helping to transport, house, and hire offenders. These behaviors are categorized as serious offenses that call for an arrest. Residents and citizens were asked by the ministry to report any infractions by dialing 999 or 996 in other parts of the Kingdom and 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.
