Najran Governor and Arab Organization Chief Discuss Boosting Regional Tourism

RIYADH: Najran Gov. Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed on Monday received Bandar Al-Fuhaid, president of the Arab Tourism Organization, to discuss ways to enhance tourism development in the region. Prince Jalawi commended the continuous support extended to Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, noting that their vision has been instrumental in driving the sector’s growth under Vision 2030.

He emphasized Najran’s rich tourism potential and called for a comprehensive development plan that engages government bodies, private entities, nonprofit organizations, and the local community to attract more visitors to the region. The governor also underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Arab Tourism Organization to expand regional tourism programs and boost sustainable growth.

During the meeting, Al-Fuhaid presented an overview of the organization’s initiatives and its efforts to advance Arab tourism and support member states in achieving their development goals. He expressed appreciation for Prince Jalawi’s dedication to promoting tourism in Najran, highlighting the region’s diverse and unique attractions.
