On the Margins of the OIC, the Saudi Foreign Minister Meets with Counterparts from Egypt and Pakistan

ISTANBUL: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, met separately with his colleagues from Egypt and Pakistan Saturday. The talks took place during the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the two parties reviewed the tight ties between the Kingdom and Egypt and talked about regional changes and their effects on regional security during their meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

Prince Faisal also had a meeting with Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister of Pakistan. According to SPA, the talks covered bilateral relations as well as current initiatives to solve regional and global issues.

The Saudi ambassador to Turkiye, Fahd bin Asaad Abu Al-Nasr, and Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, counsellor to the Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, attended both sessions.
