Projects From a Saudi Charity are on Display at the Dutch "GreenTech" Show

RIYADH: As part of the Saudi delegation at Greentech Amsterdam, an international horticultural exposition that took place in the Dutch capital from June 10–12, the Vegetation Cover Development Foundation, also known as Morooj, showcased its flagship projects. Morooj emphasised its operational and technical prowess as well as its creative environmental solutions that adhere to international standards and best practices.

The foundation also gave instances of its strategic alliances with international organisations and other public and commercial sectors. The projects on exhibit included the Saudi Green Initiative’s efforts to rehabilitate natural reserves in different parts of the Kingdom, green mosque areas, encourage community involvement in environmental sanitation campaigns, and plant millions of mangrove trees.

Wael Bushah, the CEO of the foundation, stated that the Kingdom’s involvement in GreenTech is another indication of its endeavours to strengthen its position as a global leader in the environmental field. One of the top global gatherings for environmental breakthroughs and sustainable agricultural technology, the expo offers a chance to network and share knowledge on the newest developments in afforestation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable agriculture.
