Saudi Arabia Encourages Mutual Respect and Moderation in Jakarta

JAKARTA: As part of a ministry program coordinated with its Indonesian counterpart, the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance preached on Friday at Jakarta’s Al-Azhar Mosque. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the effort demonstrates the ministry’s dedication to enhancing its religious and educational presence and carrying out its purpose of advancing the ideals of moderation and tolerance.

Additionally, the ministry held its 30th intense training session in Jakarta. In order to impart the ideals of moderation and centrism, the three-day program for one hundred participants incorporates academic lectures and subjects.

The Saudi administration wants to improve all aspects of its relations with the Muslim world. The Kingdom began a five-day scientific training program in Ghana in October with the goal of preparing and certifying preachers and orators in the African nation. The Friday sermon was given at Jakarta’s Al-Azhar Mosque by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
