At a ceremony on Thursday at the Saudi diplomatic headquarters in Amman, Saudi Arabia presented the State of Palestine with the fourth installment of its financial support for 2024, totaling $10 million. During his meeting with Palestinian Finance Minister Omar Bitar, Saudi ambassador to Jordan, non-resident ambassador to Palestine, and consul general in Jerusalem Naif Al-Sudairi presented the installment.
This action demonstrates the Kingdom’s dedication to aiding the Palestinian people and raises the overall amount of money given to Palestine each month to $40 million. Bitar spoke at the event and commended Saudi Arabia for its longstanding support of Palestine’s legitimate rights and creation of an independent Palestine state.
In appreciation of the Kingdom’s leadership’s ongoing political, economic, and humanitarian support, the minister sent congratulations from Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa and President Mahmoud Abbas. Bitar emphasized how crucial this assistance is to easing the financial catastrophe that Israel’s policies are causing in the State of Palestine.
Ambassador Al-Sudairi spoke and reiterated the Kingdom’s unwavering support for Palestinian rights during the event. He pointed out that the Kingdom has consistently given the Palestinian people financial support in the form of relief, development, and humanitarian assistance over the past years.
