Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Joins Palestine Donor Group Meeting

Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed ElKhereiji reiterated Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause during the Palestine Donor Group meeting held in Brussels. The session, co-chaired by the European Union and the State of the Palestine brought together international representatives to discuss efforts aimed at strengthening the financial stability and governance of the Palestinian Authority.

ElKhereiji emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to collaborating with all partners to help the Palestinian people achieve their legitimate aspirations for an independent state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia views the establishment of a sovereign with Palestinian state as a cornerstone for lasting peace and regional stability.

The deputy minister also highlighted the recent launch of the Emergency Alliance to Support the Financial Stability of the Palestinian Authority. Although Formed in partnership with Spain, Norway France and several international organizations, the initiative seeks to ensure that the Authority can meet essential needs sustain critical institutions and continue providing vital services to the Palestinian population.
