Saudi industry Minister Begins Official Trip to the Netherlands.

RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef arrived in the Netherlands on Monday for an official visit to strengthen industrial and mining cooperation, according to the Saudi Press Agency. The visit is intended to explore and expand joint investment opportunities between the two countries.

Alkhorayef plans to meet with several Dutch ministers, senior government officials, and key private-sector leaders to discuss industrial and mining collaboration.

The minister’s itinerary will also include several visits to Dutch factories and companies operating in these sectors, with the goal of encouraging collaboration between private sector entities in both countries.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the visit demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s commitment to diversifying its economy and strengthening international ties.

In 2023, the Kingdom’s non-oil exports to the Netherlands were estimated to be around SR2.6 billion ($706 million), while its non-oil imports from the Netherlands totaled nearly SR8.5 billion.
