Washington: The Department of Justice said Friday that it has charged a US man who posts content online under the alias “Mr Satan” with threatening to kill President Donald Trump and other government officials. The 32-year-old Shawn Monper was arrested and accused of “making threats to assault and murder” Trump and other US officials, including agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in a federal criminal complaint.
According to a DOJ statement, the FBI got an urgent warning regarding threats made on YouTube by a user going by the name “Mr Satan,” whose online activity was found to be consistent with Monper’s home. Coincidentally, Monper hails from Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of Trump’s near-assassination at a July campaign event. The DOJ stated that Monper had “bought several guns and been stockpiling ammo since Trump got in office” after obtaining a firearms permit shortly after Trump’s inauguration in January.
In reference to Trump’s wealthy advisor Elon Musk, he said on February 17: “No, we just need to start killing people, Trump, Elon, all the heads of agencies Trump appointed, and anyone who stands in the way.” When the time comes to act, they will be weaker, many will have been crushed by these measures, and they will desire retribution as well. Remember, we are the majority, and MAGA is a minority in the nation. According to the DOJ, he stated, “American Revolution 2.0.”
