RIYADH: On Tuesday during the 79th UN General Assembly in New York City, Saudi Arabia’s Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, held a meeting with Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the UN Environment Program.They talked about how to improve the current collaboration between UNEP and the Kingdom throughout the discussion.
The Saudi Press Agency said that during the meeting, they talked about Saudi Arabia’s efforts and plans to lessen the effects of climate change, as well as strategies to improve the Kingdom and UNEP’s current cooperation.
During their meeting, Al-Jubeir also spoke with Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme, the Netherlands’ climatic Envoy, and they discussed ways to improve their bilateral collaboration on environmental and climatic issues. At the 79th UN General Assembly in New York City on Tuesday, UN Environment Program Executive Director Inger Andersen was there.
