Baha-based visionary artist Majed Al-Zahrani has given abandoned metal new life by turning it into eye-catching paintings and sculptures.

Al-Zahrani has made a name for himself in the art world with his love for innovation and his acute attention to detail, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The teenage artist has created elaborate metal sculptures that defy their modest beginnings using only basic equipment. Al-Zahrani’s sculptures, which range from dainty deer to towering trees, are evidence of his talent and inventiveness.

Al-Zahrani stated that he started working with scrap metal in 2013 and that’s when his artistic adventure started. He has created a mobile workshop throughout the years, furnished with his own custom-built and designed tools.

His choice of materials demonstrates his dedication to sustainability and recycling, as he repurposes construction waste to create breathtaking pieces of art, according to SPA.

The artist said his desire to encourage young people to use their imaginations and recycle as a way to help preserve the environment.

Al-Zahrani has not only achieved personal fulfillment but also shown that upcycling can be a successful artistic and economic endeavor by turning waste metal into priceless works of art.
