On Monday, a group from the Syrian Arab Republic went to the World Defence Show 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They speak with representatives from defence firms and military groups to learn about new technologies and discuss potential collaboration. The Saudi Authority for Military Industries started the event in 2022. It happens every two years.
The group was led by Brig. Gen. Asem Hawari, who was in charge of the air forces and air defence. It also included people from the Ministry of Defence. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, they met with people from military groups and defence industries to talk about the newest technology and how to work together and share knowledge.
The Saudi Arabian General Authority for Military Industries started the World Defence Show in 2022. It happens every two years. Organisers say it has become an important global venue for defence experts where leaders from the industry, the military, and the government get together to talk about new developments in air, land, sea, and space defence and security. The Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center is hosting an event called “The Future of Defence Integration” from Sunday to Thursday in 2026.
