With assistance from the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF), the private sector in Saudi Arabia has employed over 294,000 Saudis in the first nine months of this year. Thus far, the initiatives and products of HADAF have helped 1.7 million Saudi people.
Fund Turki Al-Jawini, the Director General of HADAF, made this announcement on Thursday. During the same time period, he said HADAF spent SR5.48 billion ($1.5 billion) on training, orientation, and empowerment support initiatives. Al-Jawini said about 139,000 enterprises across the Kingdom had profited from services and products from the start of this year to the end of the third quarter.
Al-Jawini emphasised that HADAF is eager to stay up with the Kingdom’s rapid development across the board. Additionally, the Fund consistently strives to improve the capabilities of young Saudi women and men, increase their level of labour market involvement, and urge the business sector to support localisation. This is in addition to enhancing collaboration with pertinent stakeholders in the areas of training, hiring, and empowering national cadres, as well as boosting their sustainability and competitiveness in the labour market.
According to Al-Jawini, HADAF’s new approach has improved the advantages that its services and programs offer to both individuals and organisations. He emphasised HADAF’s ongoing efforts to achieve its criteria, stay up to date with developments in the labour market.
