Crowds Flock to the Saudi Pavilion at the Cairo Book Fair

RIYADH: Since its debut on January 23, Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at the 56th Cairo International Book Fair has drawn a sizable number of visitors. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs’ pavilion area highlights its initiatives to support Muslims in keeping with Vision 2030. The daily distribution of hundreds of copies of the Holy Qur’an, printed in different sizes by the King Fahd complex in Madinah, is one of the corner’s highlights.

According to the SPA, interactive exhibits showcasing cutting-edge Qur’anic printing technology have enthralled visitors and demonstrated the Kingdom’s commitment to conserving and disseminating the Holy Qur’an across the world. Rare ancient Islamic manuscripts that emphasise the efforts of linguists, scholars, and jurists are also on display in the ministry’s area.

While digital services like the Rushd and Correct Quotation applications improve the guest experience, a 3D virtual Hajj and Umrah app provides a step-by-step guide to sacred ceremonies. According to the SPA, many guests have commended the ministry’s work and expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s dedication to helping Muslims. 1,345 publishers from 80 countries are participating in the show, which is being organised by the Egyptian General Book Organisation. It ends on February 5.
