Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan took part in a high-level ministerial meeting on Gaza hosted by Turkey in Istanbul on Monday, according to the Saudi Press Agency. The meeting brought together top diplomats from Qatar, the UAE, Jordan Pakistan and Indonesia to discuss the latest developments in Gaza and efforts to achieve lasting peace in the region.
Key topics of discussion included the implementation of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza as well as the outcomes of the recent Sharm El-Sheikh Summit of which marked a significant diplomatic step toward conflict resolution and humanitarian aid access. Participants also reviewed the latest results from the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, a coalition launched to support diplomatic efforts and coordinate humanitarian initiatives.
The meeting emphasized the urgent need to consolidate with the ceasefire and ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian assistance to all parts of Gaza. Diplomatic efforts continue to focus on stabilizing the ceasefire supporting reconstruction. These collective efforts underline the commitment of Muslim-majority countries and international partners to restore peace and alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
