The strong participation of businesses and organizations in Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry at the Spotlight World Travel Market exhibition, held in Riyadh from Tuesday to Thursday, reflects this diversity. Leading figures in the travel and tourism sector, investors, and experts from all over the world came together for the three-day event to present market trends, travel-related goods, and business and investment prospects.
The growing scope of the local tourism product was reflected in participation in the expo. With the advent of new destinations and projects that have helped to reshape Saudi Arabia’s tourism map, options are no longer limited to a single season or mode of travel and now encompass marine, mountain, cultural, heritage and recreational tourism in addition to events, leisure, and hospitality tourism.
These products come together at the “Saudi, Welcome to Arabia” pavilion to create a comprehensive picture of the Kingdom’s destinations and experiences, ranging from coasts and islands to mountains, oases, and historical sites, as well as cities and the events, museums, cultural and entertainment centers, shopping experiences, and hospitality offerings they host.
